SC is the International Conference for
High Performance Computing, Networking,
Storage and Analysis

SCHEDULE: NOV 12-18, 2011

When viewing the Technical Program schedule, on the far righthand side is a column labeled "PLANNER." Use this planner to build your own schedule. Once you select an event and want to add it to your personal schedule, just click on the calendar icon of your choice (outlook calendar, ical calendar or google calendar) and that event will be stored there. As you select events in this manner, you will have your own schedule to guide you through the week.

You can also create your personal schedule on the SC11 app (Boopsie) on your smartphone. Simply select a session you want to attend and "add" it to your plan. Continue in this manner until you have created your own personal schedule. All your events will appear under "My Event Planner" on your smartphone.

ABSTRACT:
As we look at today’s competitive global environment we recognize the untapped potential for enhanced technical computing usages across a variety of industry segments. How can we provide scientists, engineers, analysts and digital creators seamless access to efficient compute services on demand? Intel has shared a vision of an industry-standard architecture to enable a hybrid HPC computing environment that spans from workstations to clusters to private and public clouds. Through this initiative, visualizing, modeling, and testing ideas becomes more accessible. Users get faster time to results even if they couldn’t afford the upfront infrastructure costs. Faster time to results means more time for productive analysis and answers that affect reaction to decisions that is pervasive in every aspect of daily life (business, healthcare, education, etc.). More customers can get access to simulation technology to optimize the aesthetics, performance and economic benefits of the technical merits of products/services/technologies. We would like to invite audience discussion and participation within the HPC community to make seamless computing a reality.
