When viewing the Technical Program schedule, on the far righthand side
is a column labeled "PLANNER." Use this planner to build your own
schedule. Once you select an event and want to add it to your personal
schedule, just click on the calendar icon of your choice (outlook
calendar, ical calendar or google calendar) and that event will be
stored there. As you select events in this manner, you will have your
own schedule to guide you through the week.
You can also create your personal schedule on the SC11 app (Boopsie) on your smartphone. Simply select a session you want to attend and "add" it to your plan. Continue in this manner until you have created your own personal schedule. All your events will appear under "My Event Planner" on your smartphone.
ABSTRACT: Four HPC Best Practices Workshops, sponsored by the DOE Office of Science and the NNSA, have been held in the last four years. These workshops and their findings have provided the basis for a cross-agency and cross-facility understanding of the methods used to run effective HPC centers. Annual topics have spanned systems integration, risk management, sustainable software lifecycles, and power management. By SC 2011 a fifth workshop will have been conducted on file systems and archives.
This BOF will serve as a high level summary to the reports, presenting their findings, develop a discussion of progress since the workshops. The BOF is open to all, but is particularly targeted toward managers and directors of large scale HPC facilities. Previous workshop reports are available here: https://outreach.scidac.gov/pmbp/
