When viewing the Technical Program schedule, on the far righthand side
is a column labeled "PLANNER." Use this planner to build your own
schedule. Once you select an event and want to add it to your personal
schedule, just click on the calendar icon of your choice (outlook
calendar, ical calendar or google calendar) and that event will be
stored there. As you select events in this manner, you will have your
own schedule to guide you through the week.
You can also create your personal schedule on the SC11 app (Boopsie) on your smartphone. Simply select a session you want to attend and "add" it to your plan. Continue in this manner until you have created your own personal schedule. All your events will appear under "My Event Planner" on your smartphone.
ABSTRACT: This talk begins with a brief introduction of the history of HPC development in China and the shifts of the R&D focus in this field. Then the key project of the China's High-tech R&D program on high productivity computer and grid service environment is introduced. The key technical issues concerned in the development of high productivity computers are discussed and the major approaches in developing the peta-scale computers are presented. The efforts in the past 10 years in developing the national computing infrastructure, the China National Grid (CNGrid), as well as in developing the HPC and Grid applications are presented afterwards. The status and the possible follow-ups in the next 5 years in this field are given towards the end of the talk.
