DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:ABSTRACT: The eXtreme Scientific and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE), the follow-on to the TeraGrid open scientific infrastructure, provides users with seamless integration to NSF's high-performance computing and data resources. XSEDE's comprehensive suite of advanced digital services combines with other high-end facilities and with campus-based resources across the country to form a federated system that serves as the foundation for a national cyberinfrastructure ecosystem. This BOF brings together users, potential users, and developers of XSEDE services for an open, candid discussion about the present state and future plans of XSEDE. =0A=0AThe BOF opens with a brief introduction to existing XSEDE services followed by a status update on the deployment plans for additional services. Following the introduction, a guided discussion explores user opinions of XSEDE activities and solicits feedback on the XSEDE user experience. The session concludes with an open discussion of topics raised by participants in a town-hall format.
