Birds-of-a-Feather Sessions (BOFs)
Don't just observe, ENGAGE! The Birds of a Feather (BOF)
sessions are among the most interactive, popular, and
well-attended sessions of the SC Conference Series. The
BOF sessions provide a non-commercial, dynamic venue for
conference attendees to openly discuss topics of focused
mutual interest and currency within the HPC community
with a strong emphasis on audience-driven discussion,
professional networking and grass-roots participation.
SC11 continues this tradition with a full schedule of
exciting, informal, interactive sessions focused around
a variety special topics of mutual interest, including:
- Applications and Programming Environments
- Computing, Storage, and Networking
- Center Operations and System Administration
- Energy Efficiency
- New and Emerging Technologies
With 94 topics scheduled over the course of three days,
the BOF sessions are an excellent opportunity to connect
and interact with other attendees with whom you share a
mutual interest.
BOFs meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 12:15-1:15
pm, and 5:30-7:00 pm. BOFs are open to all conference
attendees, including exhibitors and exhibits-only badge
holders.
